Jason Sullivan begins his ninth year at Bryant University as the Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and his 18th year in collegiate athletics.

At Bryant University, Sullivan oversees the Athletic Communications Office and the publicity of Bryant's athletic teams which includes all publications, press releases, game programs, game statistics, website design and content, photography and video web casts as well as providing written material for various campus publications including Bryant Magazine and Bryant 360. 

In addition to overseeing the Athletic Communications operations, Sullivan is responsible for the oversight of the department's Marketing Department, Corporate Sponsorships, Black & Gold Club, and the Athletics Hall of Fame.  In addition, he handles all radio and television contracts, including the department's webcasting on www.bryantbulldogs.tv, radio and television, and all department licensing contracts.  

As a member of the department's senior staff, Sullivan serves as the Sports Supervisor for men's soccer, women's lacrosse and men's golf.  

A 1994 graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Communication, Sullivan spent 10 years at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo, Calif. upon graduating from UNH. While at Cal Poly from 1993 to 2002, he served as the Assistant Director of Media Relations for four years before he was named Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations in 1997, a position he held through June of 2002.   

While at Cal Poly, Sullivan oversaw the public relation and promotions for 20 Division I Intercollegiate sports, including all publications and weekly news releases. In addition, Sullivan designed and implemented Cal Poly's new athletic website plus served as the play-by-play and color analyst for several Cal Poly football, basketball and baseball radio broadcasts and host of Cal Poly's Baseball Coaches Show on 1280 KKAL. 

During his tenure, he assisted with various NCAA and conference championships including the 1996 NCAA Men's Basketball Regional in San Jose as well as the Big West Conference Baseball tournament championship at Long Beach State University and Big West Conference Basketball Tournaments in Reno, Nevada and Anaheim, Calif.  

In addition to his role within the Athletics Department, Sullivan was an instructor in the Cal Poly Computer Science Department and served as a lecturer with the university's Journalism Department. 

Prior to arriving at Bryant University in the fall of 2003, Sullivan was the Director of Media Relations at the University of New Haven for one year.

A member of the United States Basketball Writer's Association, Words Unlimited, CoSIDA and NACMA, Sullivan is currently pursuing a master's degree in Sports Leadership at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa. 

He resides in Providence, R.I. with his wife Cheryl, son Liam and dog Brady.
