Allie Weinberger begins her fifth year at Bryant University and her second as Director of Athletic Communications after serving as Assistant Director for three years. At Bryant, Weinberger oversees the publicity of Bryant's athletic teams, creating media guides, press releases, game programs, brochures and other publications and is also in charge of website design and content in addition to her in-game sports information duties.

Weinberger also serves the athletic department's print and web-based graphic design needs, producing material ranging from banners and wall murals to publication layout and design and web graphic design, as well as other forms artwork for Bryant Athletics and its facilities.

At Bryant, Weinberger serves as the primary contact for the volleyball, field hockey, men's basketball, men's lacrosse and women's lacrosse programs while overseeing all of the Bulldogs' 22 varsity sports.

Weinberger graduated from Boston University in 2007 with a degree in print journalism. While at BU, she spent three years writing for Boston University's independent daily newspaper, The Daily Free Press. During her tenure at the Free Press, Weinberger served as sports editor as well as beat writer for men's basketball and men's ice hockey.

Prior to joining the Bulldogs, Weinberger was a freelance writer for the MetroWest Daily News in Framingham, Mass.

A native of Easton, Pa., Weinberger is a member of CoSIDA and ECAC-SIDA and currently resides in Warwick, R.I.
