SPORTS COVERED: women's basketball, men's soccer, men's tennis, women's tennis

A Connecticut native, Melanie Gran begins her nineth year as a member of the Bryant University Athletic Training staff in the fall of 2010.  This fall will be her second year as Bryant's Head Women's Athletic Trainer after she was promoted to the position in August of 2009. 

While at Bryant, Gran assists head athletic trainer Patrick O'Sullivan with all athletic training services for Bryant's 22 intercollegiate sports programs.  She is licensed in Rhode Island as an ATC, a member of National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), and is certified through the NATA-BOC. Gran works primarily with Bryant's men's soccer, women's basketball and men's & women's tennis teams during the year.

A native of Monroe, Connecticut, Gran is a 2002 graduate of St. Andrews Presbyterian College in Laurinburg, North Carolina, served is several capacities as an undergraduate, including working as a student athletic trainer and assisting the St. Andrew's Sports Information Department. She graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and Sport.
