Ab Training: Get that beautifully tones stomach you have
always wanted. Ab Training is a 30-minute class of abdominal
workouts. This class works every muscle in your abs from upper to
lower, and obloquies. All levels are welcome.
Beginning Yoga: This study of Yoga utilizes specific
postures, breathing techniques and relaxation poses to develop
muscle strength and flexibility for all fitness and experience
levels.
Body Pump: A 60-minute circuit class, this cardio/strength
class has no fancy moves and is geared to all level. Use of
dumbbells, body bars, stability balls and many more toys during
this high-energy workout.
Cardio Conditioning and Butts & Guts:
This class combines 20 minutes of abdominal work, 20
minutes of buttock work, and 20 minutes of cardio conditioning.
This is a complete workout. Freeweights, Stability balls and
training bars will be used.
Hip-Hop: In this class you will get the chance to dance
and work off those calories while learning dance routines to your
favorite songs, but be ready to work. If hip-hop is something
you’ve always wanted to learn, try this class.
Instructors Choice: Each Sunday you will have a different
instructor and a different class. A schedule will be posted, before
the first Sunday of the month. You will be able to pick that
schedule up at the Control Desk.
Kickboxing: A combination of aerobics & martial arts,
Kickboxing is a high-powered exercise routine that increases
endurance, sharpens reflexes, decreases stress and enhances power.
This class develops confidence and overall muscle tone while
burning a lot of calories.
Group exercise Descriptions:
Sculpt: 60 minutes of complete body toning and sculpting.
This class works every major muscle group, giving you a lean,
muscular body. If you have ever wanted to slim down, but gain
muscle, sculpt is perfect for you. You can use different weights to
suit your needs so it’s great for anybody! No cardio
involved.
Spinning: A 45-minute stationary cycling workout set to
music with the motivation of a class setting. Adaptable resistance
allows for any level of fitness to participate in this intense and
fast-paced workout. (Sweat towel & Water Bottle Mandatory)
Step: A 60-minute class great for any level! Step involves
stepping up and down on an adjustable platform. Adjust the height
to suit your level. Perfect for a high or low intensity cardio
workout. Stay in shape by dancing and stepping to fun music.
Yoga/Pilates: One of the hottest workouts in the
US. This class combines Power Yoga and Pilates methods to build
long lean muscles, and develop core abdominal strength. This class
focuses on stretching and toning muscles using isometric resistance
training and enhanced breathing techniques. This is a must for all
training programs, whether you are an athlete, trying to lose
weight, or if you suffer from back pain.
Rules and Regulations
• Arrive 10 minutes prior to all classes.
A sweat towel is recommended and may be picked up at the
control desk.
• A water bottle is mandatory for all spin classes and highly
recommended for all other classes.
• Please change your shoes prior to entering the room to keep
as much salt and sand off the group exercise floor. Proper athletic
footwear is required, no blacksoled shoes.
• All students and graduate students can participate in the
above classes for free (*excluding Tai Chi).
• All staff and faculty must purchase a group exercise card
for $10.00 at the Control desk. Each class costs $2.00. Bring this
card to class: the instructor will punch the card.
• Inclement weather may cause us to cancel classes, please
call ext. 6070 for any changes.
• Return all exercise equipment(bikes, steps, dumbells, etc)
to proper storage at the completion of the exercise program.
• Individual use of the Eannarino Group Exercise Studio is not
permitted. Groups may use the facility by appointment only when
available. Please check the schedule board located outside The
Eannarino Family Group Exercise Room for the most up-to-date
listings as classes are subject to change.
