Jim Gary-Varsity Men’s Basketball 1967-71

            Jim was captain and the leading scorer on the 1970-71 men’s basketball team.  Upon graduating from Bryant, he began a career in youth development, working especially with disadvantaged minority youngsters.  Jim died suddenly in November, 1986, at the age of 37.  At the time of his death he was executive director of the New Haven, Conn., Child Development Program.  The program was New Haven’s largest childrens’ education development agency.
