Roy Lapidus

Roy was a cross country and track star from 1968-72 and served as captain of the cross country team in both his junior and senior years.

During his four years of cross country competition he won 16 meets, setting course records in 12 of them. In his junior year he won the Tri-State Conference championship with the fastest time ever posted by a Bryant runner on the old Franklin Park course in Boston (25:13).

He also won the Naismith Conference individual championship. In track he set school records in the mile, two-mile and three-mile.
