Postseason Features and the Year in Bryant Athletics Wrap-Up on the Final Pat Sullivan Show for the 2006-07 Year
SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Two sports remain at Bryant for the 2006-07 season. Lisa-Ann Wallace's softball team was selected to yet another NCAA Tournament and is competing at C.W. Post in the Northeast Regional, while Jamie Pinzino's baseball squad is one of four teams remaining in the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament. Sullivan sits down with both coaches as well as seniors Amanda Wilbur and Mike Rocco.
Wilbur was named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year after becoming the first Bulldog ever to have 200-career hits. Rocco became the fifth baseball player to have 200-career hits earlier this season, and is leading a young Bulldog squad into the conference tournament and hopefully the NCAA Tournament.
Finally, Sullivan closes the final show reviewing the very successful year in Bryant sports. Six teams (and hopefully seven) have qualified for the NCAA Tournament this year, including football, women's soccer, women's basketball, golf, women's tennis, and softball. A third President's Cup trophy in four years is in the program's sites.
