On top of webcasting, Simon has also done play-by-play for women's basketball games and color commentating for men's games. Simon’s responsibilities also extend to assisting Director of Athletics Bill Smith with administrative duties.
Before arriving in Smithfield, Simon worked as a production assistant on ABC’s The Unusuals. Simon also worked as a researcher for NBC, handling fact-checking responsibilities for Football Night in America and the Games of the XXIX Olympiad in Beijing, China. Simon began his experience in television production working as a production assistant for Emmy award-winning producers Lisa Lax and Nancy Stern at Lookalike Productions.
While an undergrad at Tufts University, Simon was a two-year captain for the Jumbos baseball team and an all-league pitcher. Ben currently resides in Providence and is pursuing his Masters in Business Administration while he is at Bryant.
