Allie Weinberger begins her third year at Bryant University as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications. At Bryant, Weinberger helps to oversee the publicity of Bryant's athletic teams, creating publications, press releases, game programs, game statistics and web site design and content.
At Bryant, Weinberger serves as the chief contact for the volleyball, field hockey, women's basketball, men's lacrosse and baseball programs while assisting with all of the Bulldogs' 22 varsity sports.
Weinberger graduated from Boston University in 2007 with a degree in print journalism. While at BU, she spent three years writing for Boston University's independent daily newspaper, The Daily Free Press. During her tenure at the Free Press, Weinberger served as sports editor as well as beat writer for men's and women's tennis, men's soccer, men's basketball and men's ice hockey.
Prior to Bryant University, Weinberger covered high school sports for the MetroWest Daily News in Framingham, Mass.
A native of Easton, Pa., Weinberger is a member of CoSIDA and
ECAC-SIDA and currently resides in Providence.
