Men's Lacrosse, Football, Tennis, Women's Lacrosse and Baseball In Action This Weekend At Home

SMITHFEILD, RI – This will be a busy athletic weekend on the Bryant University campus with five home events on Saturday and Sunday including the Northeast-10 Conference Women’s Tennis Tournament, Senior Day games for Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, and the annual Black & Gold Spring Football Game.

The weekend starts Saturday at 11:00 a.m. when the Bryant University Baseball team takes on Franklin Pierce College in a doubleheader at the Bryant Baseball Complex.  The Bulldogs are looking to snap a two-game losing skid.  The Bulldog men's lacrosse team will host Saint Michael's at noon at Bulldog Stadium. Prior to the start of the game, this year's senior class will be honored.

The Bryant men's tennis teamm will travel to Lakeville, Mass. for the Northeast-10 Conference touranment semifinals where they will face Franklin Pierce.  Meanwhile, Bryant will serve as host of the 2005 Northeast-10 Women’s Tennis Championship which will be played at Centre Court Tennis Club in East Providence (see directions below).  The semifinals will kick off at 12 noon with No. 1 Bryant facing No. 4 Saint Michael's while second-seeded Stonehill will take on Le Moyne, the No. 6 seed of the tournament.

The Bulldog football team will conclude its spring practice session with the annual Black & Gold Spring Football game starting at approximately 2:30PM in Bulldog Stadium. The team will play four quarters of roughly 25 plays pitting the offense vs. the defense.

The men and women’s track & field will also be competing at Northeastern University Saturday.  

Sunday will see the Bryant University women’s lacrosse take on Saint Michael’s in their Senior Day game at 1:00 p.m. at Bulldog Stadium. The Bryant University Softball team will play a doubleheader on the road at Saint Michael’s. First pitch will be at 12:00PM.
