Team Returns Home to Host Pace Wednesday Night
The Bryant men’s basketball team will host Pace
University on Wednesday night at the Chace Athletic Center. Tipoff
is at 7:30 p.m. following the women¹s game with the Setters
(5:30 pm start). The Bulldogs will be looking to snap a
two-game losing skid after opening the year with a 3-0 record. Last
week, Bryant dropped a pair of two-point games, falling to AIC,
67-65 in Springfield, MA and dropping a 64-62 decision at Saint
Rose in Albany, NY. Senior guard John Williams (Springfield,
Mass.) earned Northeast-10 Conference weekly honor roll distinction
with 17 points vs. AIC and 13 against Saint Rose. In
Sunday’s loss, Williams moved into 14th for career scoring at
Bryant with 1,231 career points. He is currently second in
school history with 225 career three-point field goals and needs 71
to pass Jason Bennett¹s record of 295 career three-pointers.
The Bulldogs will travel to Southern Connecticut on Saturday.

Bulldogs Look To Snap Skid Against Pace
Wednesday
The Bryant women’s basketball team will look to snap
a two-game skid this Wednesday when the Bulldogs host undefeated
Pace University. Tipoff at the Chace Athletic Center is at
5:30 pm. Last week, the Bulldogs dropped a pair of
Northeast-10 Conference games, falling at AIC, 62-48 and Saint
Rose, 71-51 on Sunday. Sophomore guard Lynn-Anne Kokoski
(Hatfield, Mass./Smith) leads the Bulldogs with 10.0 ppg.
Wednesday will be the first home game of the season for the
women¹s team.

SWIMMING
Bulldogs Travel to Northeast-10 Conference Championships
Next Weekend at Southern Connecticut
The Bryant men’s and women’s swim teams are currently
idle in preparation for the 2005 Northeast-10 Conference
Championships Dec. 9 at Southern Connecticut State University in
New Haven, Conn. It will be the only meet in the month
of December for the swim team. The Bulldogs will resume their
season Jan. 14 with a home meet with WPI at the Chace Athletic
Center Pool.

Bulldogs Open Season Saturday at Northeastern
Invitational
The Bryant men's and women's indoor track teams will kick off the
winter season this Saturday with a trip to Boston for the
Northeastern University Invitational at the Reggie Lewis Center.

GOLFER NAMED TO NE-10 ALL-ACADEMIC
TEAM
Bryant University men’s golfer Kristofer Hart
‘08 (East Longmeadow, Mass.) has been named to the 2005
Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic team. Hart, a sophomore who
helped lead the Bulldogs to their third-straight conference
championship in September (20th overall), was one of five named
academic all-conference, holding a 3.67 GPA in finance at Bryant
University.
FOOTBALL STANDOUT NAMED ACADEMIC
ALL-CONFERENCE
Bryant sophomore defensive back Marcus Lindsey ‘08
(Bridgeport, Conn.) has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference
Academic All-Conference First Team. Lindsey, sixth on the
team with 35 tackles last season plus one pass breakup and a fumble
recovery, was one of ten players selected in the conference.
He currently holds a 3.47 GPA in business.
MUNIZ ALL-AMERICAN; THREE NAMED
ALL-REGION
The Bryant University women's volleyball team placed three
players on the 2005 American Volleyball Coaches Association
(AVCA) All-Region team. Senior Michelle Muniz (Guaynabo,
Puerto Rico) and sophomore Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, IL)
earned Northeast All-Region honors while junior Jessica Cegarra
(Danville, NH) was named All-Region Honorable Mention. Muniz,
Bryant's all-time career kills leader, has been named to the
all-region team for the fourth consecutive year while Garry earns
her first all-region honor and joins Dowling College's Jana
Cleveland as the only setters selected to the all-region
team. On Monday, the AVCA named Muniz All-American Honorable
Mention for the second consecutive year.
MAUREEN BURNS HONORED BY ECAC
Bryant University Field Hockey star senior, Maureen Burns
(Derry, NH) has been piling up awards all fall after completing her
final season with the Bulldogs. On Monday, Burns was named a 2005
ECAC Division II Field Hockey All-Star Presented by FieldTurf.
Maureen is one of only 11 players selected to this elite All-Star
group. Earlier this fall, Burns was named All-American and
First Team All-Conference by the Northeast-10.
