Ten Athletes Named To Conference Weekly Honors List


BRYANT ATHLETES EARN WEEKLY HONORS FROM NORTHEAST-10 CONFERENCE

SMITHFIELD, RI -  A total of 10 Bryant University student-athletes have been honored by the Northeast-10 Conference this week for athletic accomplishments in competition for the past week.  Junior Lorenzo Perry (Providence, RI ) was named the NE-10 co-Offensive Player of the Week with 313 yard rushing in the football team’s win over Stonehill on Saturday. 

Also, volleyball senior Michelle Muniz (Guaynabo, Puerto Rico) earned Player of the Week honors with 31 kills in two matches last week.  Teammate Tiffany Garry (Frankfort, IL) was named the NE-10 Setter of the Week with an average of 14.0 assists per game and seven service aces in wins over Merrimack and NYIT. 

Bryant’s men’s and women’s soccer goalkeepers earned respective conference goalkeeper of the week honors for their efforts in leading the Bulldogs to wins last week.  Junior Alex Bissias (Harpswell, Maine) allowed just two goals on the week in leading the men’s soccer team to wins over Stonehill and Merrimack.  Jessica Neales (Swansea, Mass.) was named the women’s soccer Goalkeeper of the Week by the conference office after picking up five saves in a shutout win over No. 23 Saint Rose last week.

Field Hockey - Marie Grant (Jr. GK, Weston, Mass.)
Women’s Soccer – Diane Pascale (So., F, Plymouth, Mass.)
Cross Country – Caleb Paul (Sr., Addison, Maine)
Cross Country – Nicole Radzik (So., Sutton, Mass.)
Football – (James Lewis So., DL, New Haven, Conn.)
