Bryant University Names Greg Gigantino Assistant Football CoachSMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University Department of Athletics & Recreation has announced the hiring of Greg Gigantino as assistant football coach, joining coach Marty Fine's staff as linebackers coach.
Gigantino brings 29 years of coaching experience to the Bryant football coaching staff, joining the Bulldogs from Hofstra University where he served as the Associate Head Coach / Defensive Coordinator from 2001 to 2005. During his time at Hofstra, the Pride qualified for the Division I-AA playoffs in 2001 and earned a top-10 national ranking.
Prior to arriving at Hofstra, Gigantino was an assistant coach/defensive coordinator at Cornell University from 1998-2000.
During his career, Gigantino has coached at Lehigh University (1989-90), Davidson College (1985-89), Iona College (1984-85), Rutgers (1978-84), and Indiana, Pa. (1977-78). He is a 1977 graduate of Wagner College.
