FALL PRESEASON UNDERWAY

SMITHFIELD, RI - Though the calendar may still say August, the Bryant campus has come alive over the last couple of days as several fall sports teams have already reported and underway with preseason practice. Women's soccer is currently in Italy for both sight-seeing and training against various club teams. Football, field hockey, and men's soccer reported to campus Tuesday and are currently underway with practices.
Women's volleyball is scheduled to report to campus on Thursday for the start of practice. Field hockey, under the direction of head coach Coni Fichera, will kick off the season Wednesday, August 29 at Assumption College with the home opener scheduled for Monday, Sept. 10 against Merrimack.
Men's and women's cross country will report to campus during the last week of August to begin training for the Amherst (Mass.) Invitational September 8 while men's golf, men's tennis, and women's tennis will also begin their fall competitive season in September.
