MEN'S TENNIS TEAM RECEIVES NE-10 WEEKLY HONORS

SOUTH EASTON, MA - After a strong weekend with victories over Queens College (NY) and Southern New Hampshire University, the Bryant University Men's Tennis Team was awarded with two players in the weekly honor.

Cristian Balestrieri (Mar del Plata, Argentina) was named the Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week. Balestrieri went 2-0 at No.1 in singles play last weekend.  He had a 6-0, 6-0 win over Queens and followed with an 8-4 win over Southern New Hampshire.

Kevin Gardiner (Powder Springs, GA) was included in the Weekly Honor Roll after he earned the decisive win in singles play in three sets over Queens to give Bryant a 5-4 win.  He dropped the first set 7-5, but battled back to win 7-6 (7-5) and 1-0 (10-6) in the third.

The Bulldogs (14-3) will resume their play this Saturday when they visit Stonehill College in Easton, MA.
