BRYANT UNIVERSITY TEAMS UP WITH GALLAGHER MIDDLE SCHOOL

SMITHFIELD, R.I.- Bryant University and Gallagher Middle School have developed a strong relationship over the years.  Recently Bryant donated used strength and conditioning equipment to the new fitness center at the school. 

This past Monday, President Ron Machtley and Athletic Director Bill Smith presented the Gallagher Middle School and principal Laurie Beauvais with a check for $5,000 to help the school purchase cardiovascular equipment.  

"Bryant is thrilled to be a partner with Gallagher Middle School in its efforts to help students, teachers, administrators and staff develop lifetime habits of wellness," said Machtley. 

The donation has helped the school already purchase five treadmills.
