2006 Season Outlook: Nick returns behind the plate for his senior season. A solid defensive catcher with a strong arm, he is an asset to the Bulldogs' pitching staff. Also, a strong contact hitter.

As a Junior: Played in and started 41 games. Had 175 putouts and 28 assits while committing only two errors.

As a Sophomore: Second Team All-Conference selection. Started in 56 of team's 57 games behind the plate. Committed only four errors all season. Hit .278 with 40 RBIs. Had 4 RBIs against Assumption.

As a Freshman: Started 14 games as a catcher. Threw out nine runners trying to steal. Hit .271 with 12 RBIs. Went 4-4 with 4 RBIs vs. Columbia Union (3/13/03). Was 3-4 with 3 RBIs vs. Franklin Pierce (4/27/03)

Before Bryant: Nick is a 2002 graduate of Central Catholic High School where he was a team captain and three year letter winner. He was a two-time Lawrence Eagle Tribune all-star and two-time league all-star. Nick led his team to the Eastern MA championship game as a senior.

Personal: Nick was born June 3, 1984. He is the son of John and Marie Tucarella. His father played baseball at New Hampshire.
