Taylor Ferguson Named Freshman of the Week

SOUTH EASTON, MASS. - After leading his club to four wins last weekend in Fort Pierce, Fla., right-fielder Taylor Ferguson (Charlton, Mass.) was named the Northeast-10 Conference freshman of the week.

Ferguson launched his first collegiate home run, a three-run shot in a 24-8 victory over Felician. He went 8-for-19 with three doubles in four games. He also scored seven runs, had four RBIs, and stole a base.

3B/C Jason Alexander (Simsbury, CT), CF Nick Campbell (Raynham, Mass.), SP Brent Almeida (Fairhaven, Mass.) and LF T.J. Magnell (Leominster, Mass.) were named to this week's honor roll.

Ferguson is the third Bulldog to receive Northeast-10 honors, as Dan Lozeau (Pelham, NH) was named pitcher of the week last week and Jeff Vigurs (New Windsor, CT) was selected as the NE-10 freshman of the week on February 20th.

The Bulldogs (4-6) embark on a 12-game road-trip over nine days that begins with a doubleheader at Limestone Saturday (noon/3 p.m).
