Baseball Ranked Seventh in the Northeast Regional Poll

RINDGE, N.H. - Winners of seven of their last ten games, the Bulldog baseball team was voted seventh in the second edition of the National Collegiate Baseball Writers of America's Division II Northeast Regional Poll.

Franklin Pierce, winners of 12 of their first 13 games, was voted unanimously the top choice followed by UMass Lowell and Assumption.

Fourth through seventh place (C.W. Post, Pace, Philadelphia, Bryant) in the rankings are separated by just three points.

The Bulldogs host Assumption this Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in the 2007 home opener and Northeast-10 Conference opener.
