Bulldogs Shutout SCSU 7-0 Thursday
NEW HAVEN, CT. - Dan Lozeau (Pelham, NH) continued his dominance as of late, shutting out Southern Connecticut for eight innings as the Bulldogs defeated the Owls 7-0 Thursday afternoon.
SS Pat McKenna (Orange, CT) had two hits and two RBIs to lead the way.
Lozeau scattered seven hits in eight innings, improving his record to 6-1.
LF T.J. Magnell (Leominster, Mass.) and DH Dylan Stone (Portsmouth, RI) each had two hits and a RBI in the win.
The Bulldogs (28-17, 20-7 NE-10) visit UMass Lowell Friday for a big doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. The Bulldogs will host Lowell Saturday at noon for a doubleheader with Bryant's two seniors being honored between games.
