Baseball Hosts SCSU in Northeast-10 Quarterfinal Game Wednesday; Game Can be Heard Live Online

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant baseball team opens the Northeast-10 Conference Tournament Wednesday at home against the Owls from Southern Connecticut.

First pitch is 3:30 p.m. at the Bryant baseball complex and can be heard live online with Pat Sullivan and Jason Sullivan calling all of the action.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Students will be admitted free.

The Bulldogs finished the regular season 29-20 and 21-9 in the conference, good enough for a third place finish in the conference. The Owls, sixth in the NE-10 are 19-29 overall, 15-15 in the NE-10 and defeated the Bulldogs twice in the team's three meetings.

SCSU swept a doubleheader from the Bulldogs on April 1 8-5 and 3-1 at Bryant. The Bulldogs avenged the losses blanking the Owls 7-0 on May 3 at New Haven.

The winner will advance to the semifinals Friday against second seed UMass-Lowell at 4 p.m. in Lowell, Mass.
