2007 Season Outlook: After breaking out in second half of the season last spring, Luke will look to be a main factor in starting rotation this year for the Bulldogs.

As a Sophomore: Made 11 starts and had 13 appearances overall on the mound. Went 5-6 with a 3.04 ERA, registering 49 strikeouts to just 22 walks. Won last five decisions of the season, including 3-0 win vs. nationally ranked UMass-Lowell, where he threw 8 shutout innings, allowed five hits and struck out 7.

As a Freshman: Made 12 appearances including five starts registering a 3-1 record with one save.

Before Bryant: Luke is a 2004 graduate of Wilton High School. He was a FCIAC All-Area selection. Led team as a senior with .458 batting average. Luke was the recipient of the Andrew Dunn Scholarship Award winner. He also lettered in football.

Personal: Lucas Bradley Cowan was born February 3, 1986. He is the son of Bob and Nancy Cowan. His concentration is in general business.
