BRYANT BASEBALL DEFEATS SAINT ROSE SUNDAY
Bryant 12, Saint Rose 3 - box score
ALBANY, NY. - The Bryant University baseball team stayed red-hot Sunday picking up a 21-3 Northeast-10 Conference win at Saint Rose. The game was a makeup from an earlier postponement this season.
Taylor Ferguson and Mark Dondero each homered for the Bulldogs while Kevin Cobb earned his fifth win of the season with seven strong innings of work. Cobb allowed just two runs on seven hits while striking out three batters before giving way to Scott Merritt who worked the eighth and Nick Laude came on in the ninth.
The Bulldogs led 1-0 after one inning and took an 8-0 lead into the bottom of the sixth before the Golden Knights came up with a pair of runs in the bottom of the inning to make it an 8-2 game. But the Bulldogs would tack on two more in the seventh and two more in the ninth to cruise to the win.
Bryant had 15 hits in the game with Jason Alexander and Dylan Stone each coming up with three hits on the afternoon. Stone scored twice and drove in three runs.
