Bryant trailed 4-0 after three inning but got back in the game with three runs in the fifth thanks to base hits from Mark Dondero (Medfield, MA), Dave Muscatello (Hopkinton, MA), and Jason Alexander (Simsbury, CT). An inning later, the Bulldogs were able to plate the tying run as O'Connor led off the sixth with a single and would later come around to score on a base hit by Muscatello.
