BULLDOGS BASEBALL ANNOUNCE 2008 SCHEDULE

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University baseball team, 2007 NCAA Northeast Regional Finalists, have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2008 season. The Bulldogs will play the NCAA-maximum 56-game schedule, featuring 30 Northeast-10 Conference games and 26 non-conference matchups.
The Bulldogs will travel south four times in 2008 and will open the season with a six-game roadtrip to Rollins College in Winter Park, Fl. on Feb. 16-18.
The following weekend, Feb. 23 and 24, Bryant travels to Wilmington, Dela. to square off against Wilmington College. The Bulldogs defeated the Wildcats, 5-1, in NCAA Regional action last spring.
Bryant will return to Florida March 1 and 2, this time heading to Boca Raton for a four-game weekend.
The Bulldogs will play a demanding 10 games in nine days over their Spring Break trip, including series with nationally ranked Mt. Olive (NC) and West Chester (Penn.).
The northern portion of Bryant's 2008 campaign includes a non-conference doubleheader with Dominican College and a single game with Division I Northeastern University on April 28, 2008.
