BULLDOGS HOST SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE THURSDAY AT 2 P.M.
THE GAME
The Bryant University baseball team hosts conference foe Southern
New Hampshire University Thursday afternoon at the Bryant Baseball
Complex. The Bulldogs round out regular-season play against the
Penmen today, after topping SNHU, 17-2, on Tuesday. First pitch is
2:00 p.m.
ON THE MOUND
Junior righthander Kevin Cobb is probable to
get the nod for Thursday's bout with the Penmen. The Acton,
Mass. native is 3-2 on the season with a 4.06 ERA. This will be
Cobb's sixth start of the 2008 campaign, as he tries to up his
team-best 26 strikeouts. A 2007 Northeast-10 Conference Second Team
selection, Cobb sports a .238 batting average against, allowing 29
hits in 31.0 innings of work.
THE LONG BALL
Junior Pat O'Connor and sophomore Taylor
Ferguson each knocked one out of the park Tuesday
afternoon against Southern New Hampshire. O'Connor leads the team,
as Tuesday's long ball was his fifth of the year, while Ferguson
follows with three. O'Connor also notched his 10th double of the
season in the 17-2 win.

Hampshire University at the school's 2007 Commencement held
Saturday, May 19.

The Bulldogs hit the road and travel to Albany, NY for a Saturday
doubleheader against Saint Rose on March 29. First pitch is 12
