About Polvani: After gaining valuable experience last season, Polvani returns in 2008 as the main setup man for Bryant out of the bullpen. The sophomore has a good command of his fastball and off-speed pitches and is capable of pitching multiple innings.
As a freshman: Appeared in 29 games ... Pitched 56 innings out of the bullpen, posting a 4-3 record with a 2.89 ERA ... Threw in 15-of-30 conference games without allowing an earned run ... Played for the NECBL Lowell All-Americans over the summer.
