2010 (Senior): 2010 Northeast Conference Pitcher of the Year and First All-NEC selection, Almeida enjoyed a brilliant senior season on the mound and worked effectively as the team’s ace.  The senior posted a perfect 6-0 record and led the league with a 1.94 earned run average.  He was also first in the league with an opposing batting average of .223. He concluded his career by pitching three-consecutive complete games, including a 9-0 win over Sacred Heart to clinch the regular-season title for the Bulldogs. Almeida struck out a career-high eight batters in the game.  His 1.94 ERA this year was the seventh-best in school history, while his 2.71 career ERA over four seasons is the second lowest in school history … In addition to earning all-conference honors, Almeida was named first team Division I All-New England by the NEIBA and participated in the New England All-Star game at Fenway Park.

2009 (Junior): Made 10 appearances out of the bullpen ... Worked 9.1 innings and finished with 1-2 record ... Had one start on the season coming against UConn where he allowed four earned runs over three innings ... Finished season with five strikeouts and just three walks allowed.

2008 (Sophomore): Appeared in 14 games, starting in 10 ... Compiled a 4-4 record and a 3.18 ERA in 70.2 innings piched ... Struck out 37 batters and held opposing batters to a .267 average.

2007 (Freshman): Made 12 starts, posting a 5-6 record ... His 1.90 ERA was fifth-best in program history for ERA in a season ... Held opponents to a .195 batting average ... Named NE-10 Pitcher of the Week after throwing a complete-game, three-hit shutout against Adelphi in the NCAA Regionals ... Struck out seven en route to an all-tournament team selection ... Daktronics All-Northeast Region Second Team selection.

Before Bryant: A 2006 graduate of Fairhaven High School ... Lettered in baseball, basketball and football for the Blue Devils ... Named a South Coast Conference All-Star ... National Honor Society member.
