Bryant University Women's Rowing

The History

At the fervent request of President Ron Machtley, then Bryant University freshman, Nicola J. Dechamps began the process of establishing the Women’s Rowing team in the fall of 2010. Since its startup, the team has made tremendous advancements towards competing at the Division 1 level. The overwhelming support from President Machtley and the Bryant community has been an extraordinary driving force behind the program’s success.

At this point, the Bryant Women’s Rowing Team has over 24 active members and is making a name for itself in both the club and collegiate circuit. To learn more about the history of Bryant Rowing, click the above title to watch a short video.
