THE GAME: The Bryant University football team takes its 4-2 record on the road this Saturday when the Bulldogs travel to Manchester, NH to take on Saint Anselm (1-5, 0-5 NE-10) in a Northeast-10 Conference game. The Bulldogs are coming off a 24-12 come-from-behind win over Stonehill at home on Saturday while the Hawks are looking to rebound from a 19-0 loss at Merrimack Saturday night. This will be the sixth meeting between Bryant and Saint Anselm since Bryant's first varsity season in 1999. The Bulldogs can tie the school record for wins in a season with a victory Saturday.
PERRY RUNS WILD LAST WEEKEND: Several new records were etched into the Bryant record book Saturday as the Bulldogs rallied from a 12-0 deficit in the third quarter to defeat Stonehill, 24-12 on a soggy afternoon at Bulldog Stadium. Highlighting the afternoon was the play of junior Lorenzo Perry. Perry rushed for a school record 313 yards and had two touchdowns on the day. His rushing yards were the fourth-best single-game total in Northeast-10 Conference history. Charles Granatell had 196 yards passing (12 of 32 with 3 interceptions) on the wet afternoon. Shane Cheltenham had four catches for 70 yards while Justin Kix had 62 yards receiving. Greg Daniel had nine tackles.

* Perry's 340 total yards were also a school record
* His 42 offensive plays were fourth-most in school history
* Perry's eight rushing TDs are a new single season school

* The Bulldogs have also allowed the fewest sacks in conference
this year (3).
THE HAWKS OF SAINT ANSELM: Saint Anselm, under the direction of interim head coach Ken Knapczyk, comes into Saturday's game 1-5 on the season with the lone win coming against Plymouth State. Knapczyk took over for Geoff Harlan who resigned over the summer. Quarterback Shane Dinagen of Harrisville, RI (Burriville) has 724 yards passing this season and nine passing touchdowns. Saturday against Merrimack, Dinagen had just six yards passing off the bench. Mike Donoghue leads the team with 41.2 yards rushing. As a team, the Hawks are averaging just 43.5 yards rushing per game and 187.5 yards passing. In their last three games, the Hawks have been outscored 133 to 24 including a 73-17 loss to C.W. Post and 41-7 loss to Stonehill.

LAST YEAR VS. SAINT ANSELM: Chris Peaks' 17-yard touchdown run in the second overtime gave Bryant a thrilling 28-21 win over the Hawks at Bulldog Stadium. Charles Granatell had 179 yards passing for the Bulldogs while Michael Garcarz had 16 receptions for 122 yards. Garcarz, who also handles the kicking duties for the Hawks, forced overtime with a 32-yard field goal at the end of regulation, but missed a 26-yarder in the first overtime.
HAND IT TO THE BIG GUYS UP FRONT: Bryant has allowed the fewest number of sacks this season in the conference. The Bulldogs have surrendered just three for 15 yards while the Bulldog defense is fifth in the conference with 16 sacks for a loss of 103 yards. Saint Anselm is first with 25 sacks.
