Bryant's Lorenzo Perry Tabbed A Preseason All-American By Football Gazette

SMITHFIELD,RI -  Bryant University senior running back Lorenzo Perry (Providence, RI) has been named a preseason Division II All-American by Don Hansen's Football Gazette.  Perry set the Bryant school rushing record last year with 1,335 yards as well as the single-season touchdown record with 17 (16 rushing) in leading the Bulldogs to a 7-3 overall record in 2005. 

Perry and the Bulldogs have reported to camp Tuesday and will begin preseason preparation for the 2006 opener September 2 against Southern Connecticut.   The Bulldogs will begin two-a-day practices on Wednesday utilizing the football grass practice facility as well as the new turf field located behind Bulldog Stadium.
