SMITHFIELD, RI - The honors continue to roll in following the best football season in Bryant history.
Senior running back Lorenzo Perry (Providence, RI) has been named to the Associated Press Little All-America Team in an announcement that was made this week. Perry set numerous school single season and career records for the Bulldogs who finished the year 8-3 and co-Champions of the Northeast-10 Conference.
Perry helped guide the Bulldogs to their first-ever NCAA Playoff appearance in November with a school-record 1,924 yards rushing this past season and was ranked No. 2 nationally with a 174.9 yards per game rushing average.
During the year, Perry rushed for over 100 yards in 10 of 11 games and reached the 200-yard rushing plateau four times including a 247-yard rushing performance against Stonehill.
Named All-New England for the second year in a row, Perry rushed for a record 20 touchdowns and was among the top five nationally with just under 12 points per game scoring average.
