Bryant's Granatell Named Northeast-10 Conference Offensive Player of Week

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- Bryant University junior quarterback Charlie Granatell (Franklin Lakes, NJ / Ramapo) has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week. Granatell completed 17 of 27 passes for 267 yards and tied a school record with four touchdown passes in Bryant's 45-21 win over Assumption College (Mass.) last Saturday.
Granatell had a long pass of 47 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter and scored on a 7 yard touchdown run in the fourth, giving him five touchdowns on the day.
Granatell, Bryant's all-time career passing leader with 3,755 yards, leads the conference in passing efficiency (151.28), completing 58 of 90 passes for 703 yards. He has seven touchdown passes this year and has throw just two interceptions. Bryant will travel to Pace University (NY) this Saturday for a 1 p.m. game.
