BOSTON -  Bryant University senior's Marcus Lindsey (Bridgeport, CT) and Ralph Squitieri (Orangeburg, NY) have been named to the 2007 New England Football Writers Division II/III All-New England.  The announcement was made this week by the New England Football Writers.

Lindsey and Squitieri will be honored at the annual writers banquet on Thursday, December 13 in Wilmington, Mass.

Lindsey, a Northeast-10 Conference All-Academic selection, led the Bulldogs with 70 tackles this past season and earned First Team All-Conference honors.   Squitieri, a four-year starter, was also named First Team All-Conference as an offensive lineman.

Bryant posted an 8-3 record in 2007 in earning the school's first-ever Northeast-10 Conference Championship and second consecutive berth in the NCAA Division II playoffs.

Also this week, senior Chris Wohlheter (Newark, Ohio) and Squitieri were named Daktronics Division II Football Second Team All-Region. The announcement was made this week following a vote by the Northeast Region Sports Information Directors.
