Football's Lindsey Gamble Awarded Gold Helmet By New England Football Writers

BRYANT'S GAMBLE NAMED GOLD HELMET WINNER THIS WEEK BY BOSTON GLOBE AND NEW ENGLAND SPORTS WRITERS

BOSTON, Mass. - Bryant sophomore running back Lindsey Gamble (Roxbury, Mass.) was awarded the New England Football Writers Gold Helmet as the New England Division II Football Player of the Week. 

Gamble received the award at the Weekly Luncheon held at Harvard University.  He is the second player in school history to earn the award, joining Lorenzo Perry who received a Gold Helmet in 2006.

In Bryant's win over Assumption last week, Gamble rushed for a career-high 182 yards and tied a school record with four touchdowns.
