BRYANT FOOTBALL COACH MARTY FINE TO COACH TO CURE
SMITHFIELD, RI - Bryant University football coach Marty Fine will be joining other collegiate football coaches this weekend as part of the Coach to Cure Muscular Dystrophy and the fight against Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy campaign.
Coach to Cure is a partnership between the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) and Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy (PPMD), the largest nonprofit organization in the United States focused entirely on Duchenne muscular dystrophy, the leading childhood killer of young men.
Coach to Cure is a nation-wide project designed to build awareness about the disorder and raise money to support researchers trying to find a treatment and cure. Coach Fine will be joining thousands of AFCA coaches in wearing the Coach to Cure MD patches on the sideline this Saturday when the Bulldogs travel to Robert Morris for a 12 pm game.
Fans are urged to help support the worthy cause by making a donation at www.CoachtoCureMD.org or sending a text message (txt "CURE" to 90999) to make a simple $5 donation.
