Fans Can Buy Raffle Tickets For Car Give-Away

Bryant University will conclude spring football practice with the annual Black & Gold Spring Game on Sunday, April 19 at Bulldog Stadium.  A pre-game student BBQ with live music provided by WJMF will be open to all Bryant students starting at 12:30.  A post-game BBQ for all parents will take place immediately following the game in Salmonson Dining Hall at a cost of $6.50. 

The game is scheduled to kick off at 1 pm.  Fans will be able to enter a raffle to win a new Chevy Aveo to be given away at the 2009 Home Opener vs. Southern Connecticut on September 5.  The Aveo will be on display at Saturday's game. Raffle tickets are $100. 

Head coach Marty Fine returns 17 starters including 10 on defense in 2009.  The Bulldogs are coming off an impressive 7-4 record in their first year of Division I football in '08, including wins against Division I opponents Duquesne, Robert Morris, Iona and Wagner.

Season tickets will be available for purchase at the Black & Gold Game along with the latest Bulldog Football merchandise and raffle tickets for a new car giveaway.  The 2009 schedule features five home games, as Southern Connecticut, Hofstra, Wagner, Central Connecticut and Saint Francis (PA) will all pay a visit to Bulldog Stadium this fall.
