Patat Named to 2004 NFHCA Division II North/South Senior All-Star Game

SMITHFIELD, RI ? Bryant senior field hockey goalkeeper Kristen Patat (Portsmouth, NH) has been named to the 2004 NFHCA Division II North/South Senior All-Star Game to be played Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC at 5:30p.m.
This honor caps Patat?s outstanding career in goal for the Bulldogs. In her senior season she started in 18-of-19 games, made 153 saves, with a .814 save percentage, and a 1.97 goals against average. She also backstopped Bryant to two shutouts on the season.
Patat is Bryant?s all-time leader in several Bulldog goalkeeping categories. She is the all-time leader in saves in a career with 414, shutouts in a career with 14, shutouts in a season with five, saves in a game with 25, and best save percentage in a season with .840. She also has 33 wins in net for Bryant and has played almost 3600 minutes for the Bulldogs.
Patat joins an a long list of distinguished Bulldogs to play in the NFHCA North/South All-Star game, including Marybeth Winslow ?01, Melissa Manseau ?04, Erin Hoffman ?04, Elizabeth Gunn ?04, Danielle Dunham ?04, and Heidi Chirigotis ?04.
