Field Hockey Rebounds With 5-2 Win Monday

Manchester, N.H. (October 11, 2004)- Laynie Sadler (Rehoboth, Mass.) scored the game?s first two goals 1:43 apart early in the first half en route to a 5-2 Bryant University win over Saint Anselm in a Northeast-10 Conference field hockey game Monday.
Sadler?s Bulldogs torched the nets for five first half goals on a series of crisp passes. The visitors scored three times of penalty corners and Sadler finished the game with three goals for the hat trick. The goals were her first of the season.
Michaela Dwyer (Buskirk, N.Y.) and Lisa Kennen (Waltham, Mass.) also logged goals for Bryant while Maureen Burns (Derry, N.H.) dished out a pair of perfect assists on crossing passes.
Saint Anselm received goals from Sarah Kane and Meghan Lawrence.
For Sadler, the goals were her first of the season as the Bulldogs snapped a three game losing skid with the win.
The Bulldogs will travel to Stonehill on Thursday before returning home to host Bentley this Sunday at the Bryant Field Hockey Complex.
