Field Hockey Drops 2-0 Decision at Stonehill

EASTON, MASS. ? The Bryant University field hockey team lost 2-0 to No. 10 ranked Stonehill College in game played today at Gorman Field.
The Chieftains? (9-7) Caitlin Gleason scored the first goal for Stonehill 8:42 into the game when she converted a feed from Julie Michalos off a penalty corner. Gleason would also add an assist on Stonehill's second goal of the game in the 30th minute.
Dani Ryder made five saves for Stonehill to get the win and senior Kristen Patat (Portsmouth, NH) made six saves for Bryant (6-10).
Bryant will return to action Sunday, October 17, with a Northeast-10 Conference game against Bentley. The Bulldogs will honor its senior class prior to the start of the game which starts at 1 p.m. at the Bryant Field Hockey Complex.
