Field Hockey Falls to UMass Lowell 4-0

LOWELL, MASS. ?The Bryant University Field Hockey team lost 4-0 to No. 1 UMass Lowell in game played Saturday at Lowell.

UMass Lowell used three first half goals and one in the second for the win. Courtney Hill started the scoring for the Riverhawks when she tipped in Jacklyn Driscoll shot five minutes into the game to make it 1-0. Alysia Morgan scored the second goal for Lowell at the 14th minute to make it 2-0.

Emily Davis then made it 3-0 when she scored her first goal of the season off a penalty corner. Driscoll capped the scoring for the Riverhawks in the 46th minute when she got an assist from Joanna DaLuze to take home the 4-0 Lowell win.

Senior Kristen Patat (Portsmouth, NH) made 10 saves in goal for Bryant (7-12), while Nicole Staiti stop two in getting the win.

This was the last game of the season for the Bulldogs, who with a 7-12 record will not qualify for the postseason play.
