Maureen Burns and Kerry Burke to participate in NFHCA All-Star game
Glen Allen, Virginia - Two Bulldogs have been selected to compete in the 2005 NFHCA Division II North/South Senior All-Star game. The game will be played on Saturday, November 19, 2005 at the University of Louisville, KY. Game time is 5:30pm.
Seniors Maureen Burns (Derry, NH) and Kerry Burke (Reading, MA) have been selected by the Coaches Association to compete in this years North/South battle. However, Burns and Burke will be joining the South squad due to the shortness of South players.
Burns leads the Bulldogs in points with 18 including six goals
and six assists. For her career she has played in 76 games and
scored 28 goals while dishing out 26 assists.
Burke has played in every game this season and patrols the midfield
for Bryant. Kerry has played in 45 career games with 3 goals and
one assist. As teammates, Burns and Burke have a combined win/loss
record of 40-36.
Come see Burns and Burke in action today at 4:00pm as the will host Franklin Pierce at the Bryant University Field Hockey Complex. Also, Saturday will be their senior day hosting American International with a game start time of 10:00am.
