Bryant University Field Hockey ranked 10th nationally
Smithfield, RI - The Bryant University field hockey team is ranked 10th in the nation according to the recent STX/NFHCA Division II National Coaches Poll. This poll is based on records through September 11 and points.
The good news came on the morning of Wednesday, September 14
prior to the Bulldogs 7:00pm game against Bentley. However, the
game that night would feature two nationally ranked teams in the
top 10. Bentley also appeared on the poll holding the third
spot.
The bad news on Wednesday would be the final score of that powerful match-up. The Bulldogs were on the short end of a 4-1 score. Bryant is now 2-3 in Northeast-10 Conference play and 3-4 overall.
The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, September 17 when they will host Saint Michael's at 1:00pm.
