Field Hockey Signs Four Field Hockey Standouts For 2006

BRYANT FIELD HOCKEY SIGNS FOUR STUDENT-ATHLETES TO NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT

SMITHFIELD, RI – Bryant University field hockey coach Coni Fichera has announced the signing of four student-athletes who will enroll and participate in intercollegiate field hockey at the university this fall.  The announcement was made today by coach Fichera and Interim Director of Athletics John Ruppert.

CAITLIN JOHNSON, Forward, Walpole, Mass.(Walpole, HS)
Helped lead Walpole High School to Bay State League Title and Massachusetts Division I State Championship as a junior … Coaches’ Award recipient … Daily Transcript All-Star selection … Team captain for basketball team that captured Bay State League Championship and finished as runners up in the Mass. Division II State Championship in basketball … Invited to “Best of 80” College Showcase in basketball … Also lettered in softball … Honor Roll student. 

ASHLEY REBELLO, Midfielder, Oak Bluffs, Mass.(Martha’s VineyardHS)
Two-time team captain in field hockey as a junior and senior … Cape Ann All-Star selection … Team MVP and Rookie of the Year award recipient … Lettered in field hockey and track as a senior … National Honor Society.

STEPHANIE HARRISON, Midfielder, Chelmsford, Mass.(ChelmsfordHS)
Lettered in both field hockey and track at Chelmsford HS … Lowell Sun and Boston Globe All-Star lacrosse selection … Merrimack Valley All-Conference and All-Star selection … Team MVP and nominated for “Best of 60” all-star team … Co-Captain … Dean’s List.

COLLEEN WILSON, Forward, Windham, NH(SalemHS)
