BULLDOG FIELD HOCKEY RETURNS TO PENNSYLVANIA, GETS SET TO FACEOFF AGAINST LEHIGH UNIVERSITY SATURDAY AT 11 A.M.

SMITHFIELD, RI -- The Bryant University field hockey team hits the road again, heading back to Pennsylvania to face a tough Lehigh University squad Saturday at the Ulrich Sports Complex in Bethlehem, Pa. at 11 a.m.

The Bulldogs get set for their next Division I bout after earning their first victory of the season Monday against Mansfield University at the Bryant Turf Complex.

In their previous two outings, the Mountain Hawks (0-2) faced off against Temple University and West Chester University. Against the Owls, Lehigh fared as well as the Bulldogs (1-2), both teams falling by a 5-0 score. Against WCU, the Mountain Hawks forced double overtime, but two goals from senior captain Kara Zweizig weren't enough to get the win.

In the Bulldogs' previous 2008 outings, they dropped a pair of games in Phiadelphia to tough St. Joseph's and Temple sides, then returning to Smithfield, R.I. to take a 3-2 win at home over the Mountaineers of Mansfield.
