Field Hockey
Josselyn Mroz begins her first season as an Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Bryant University.
Mroz graduated from UMass Lowell with a degree in business administration after playing field hockey for four years and leading her team to a national championship as a captain in 2005. She was named an 2005 NFHCA All-America First Team member as well as a Northeast-10 First Team selection. The Riverhawks captured three conference championships in her four years at Lowell. She twice set school records for goals against average (1.12 in 2003, 1.08 in 2004). As a freshman, Mroz was honored as an academic All-American.
Mroz played softball for the Riverhawks in 2007, leading them to the Northeast-10 Championship and a NCAA Tournament appearance. She played in all 52 games, starting in 51of them, while taking classes and coaching at Endicott College.
A native of Amesbury, Mass., she graduated from Amesbury High
School in 2002.She was a two-time Cape Ann League all-star at
Amesbury H.S and was selected to play in the best of 60 All-Star
game as a senior. Led Amesbury to Cape Ann League title as a
senior. Honor student throughout high school.
