Kadi Sickel joins the Bulldog coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2009 as the Bryant field hockey program enters its second year of Division I competition.
A former Division I athlete herself, Sickel was twice named an All-American by Women'sFieldHockey.com, also earning NFHCA First Team Regional All-American honors as a junior and a senior. She was a two-time Second Team All-Big Ten selection and was named to the Big Ten all-tournament team as a senior.
Sickel started every game of her collegiate career at the University of Iowa, totaling 16 goals and 12 assists in 81 contests. A 2007 Academic All-Big Ten selection, she graduated in 2008 with a degree in Theater.
Sickel has been a member of the New England High Performance team since 2008 and is currently coaching in the US Field Hockey Futures program, Region 3A for Rhode Island and northeastern Connecticut.
Before attending Iowa, Sickel was a member of the 2002 USA U16
team, joining the USA U21 team for the 2005 and 2006 seasons. While
at Iowa, Sickel was also a member of the Midwest Region High
Performance team.
