Bulldogs Ready For NCAA Tournament

BRYANT MEN SELECTED FOR NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP

SMITHFIELD, RI –  For the second year in a row, the Bryant men’s basketball team is headed back to the NCAA tournament. The Bulldogs, with a record of 20-8 overall, will travel to Waltham, MA for the NCAA Northeast Regional as the No. 6 seed. The Bulldogs will take on the No. 3 seed Adelphi at 12:00pm in the first round which will start on Saturday. 

Bryant advanced to the NCAA Regional Final last year before falling to host UMass Lowell in the Regional Final at the buzzer.  The winner of the Adelphi – Bryant game will advance to face the winner of the Bloomfield – Saint Anselm game Sunday. Saint Anselm defeated Bryant last Monday in the Northeast-10 quarterfinals. The Hawks would eventually win the conference tournament title over Bentley on Saturday.

This year’s tournament will take place at Bentley College’s Dana Center in Waltham, Mass. The winner of the regional will advance to the Elite Eight in Grand Forks, N.D.
