Relive the historic season of the Bryant Bulldogs Men's Basketball Team and their trip to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight Tournament in Grand Forks, North Dakota


The NCAA greeted the Bryant Bulldogs with enthusiasm when the team arrived in Grand Forks, ND for the Elite Eight tournament.

The Bryant Bulldogs' first visit to Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, ND, which is ranked among the top-10 arenas in the world.

The Bryant Bulldogs arrived on Sunday, March 20 to compete in the Elite Eight for the first time in team history.


The Bulldogs get ready for the tournament with their first practice in "The Ralph."

Mario Correia, a senior guard, had 26 points in Bryant's win over Mount Olive (N.C.) in the National Quarterfinals, propelling the Bulldogs to the semifinal game.


Junior John Williams poured in 25 points — including six 3-pointers — against Tarleton State (TX) in the semifinals, landing the Bulldogs a spot in the NCAA Championship game for the first time in school history. Williams was named to the Elite Eight All-Tournament team.

Sophomore Chris Burns, shown here driving to the hoop in the championship game against Virginia Union, had 24 points in the championship game for the Bulldogs.

. The Bryant Bulldogs cheerleaders flew to Grand Forks, N.D. to cheer on the Bulldogs at the Elite Eight.

The players, coaches, and Bryant athletic staff celebrated their unprecedented success at the NCAA Division II Elite Eight banquet on the campus of the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND on March 21.

The basketball team were invited to the Rhode Island Statehouse on Wednesday, April 6th for a ceremony commemorating their success in the national tournament.

Head Coach Max Good is presented with a certificate on behalf of the State of Rhode Island by Governor Don Carcieri during the team's trip to the Statehouse.

Back at the Bryant University campus, President Ron Machtley presents Coach Good and the team the NCAA Division II trophy which will be displayed in the Chace Athletic Center lobby.

The Bryant community celebrated the Bulldogs' success with a campus rally on Wednesday, April 6th in the Unistructure Rotunda.

Students showed their support by wearing Bryant Bulldogs t-shirts and greeted the players with cheers and streamers.
