One of the most consistent players for the Bulldogs during his career at Bryant, McCarthy was one of the first players off the bench last season, giving the team added rebounding and defense as well as timely scoring on the offensive end ... Hit for double figures in six games including a string of four-straight games with more than 10 points ... Season-high 14 points against Southampton on Nov. 23 ... Had 10 points and four assists in win over Saint Michael’s on Dec. 7 ... Six rebounds to go with his 11 points and two assists in road win at Assumption on Jan. 15.

2001-02: Appeared in all 26 games as a freshman ... Led Bryant in three-point field goals, was fifth on the team in scoring and third in rebounding ... Scored a career-high 18 points in the last game of the season against Merrimack ... Reached double figures in scoring nine times and had two double-doubles ... Had 16 points with 12 boards against UMass Lowell Jan. 30 ... Sank two free throws with five seconds left to clinch Bryant’s 59-56 upset of eventual NE-10 tournament champion Bentley Jan. 5 ... Scored all 12 his points in the second half of that game.
